Andreana Dermatis Kelvey, M.A., M.Ed.

Special Education Teacher

Andreana earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at URI, Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis at Salve Regina University, and most recently her Master of Education in Elementary Special Education at RIC. She has 10 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a strong background in education. She began her career as a Behavior Technician, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She then transitioned to the role of RBT in homes, schools, and clinic settings to round out her skills. She further expanded her training to teach children based on their unique needs.

As a Special Education Teacher at Strides Academy, Andreana is dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs by implementing individualized strategies that promote growth and independence. She is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.

In her free time, she enjoys testing new baking recipes as well as spending time with her husband, daughter, and son, soaking up the sun at the beach.
