Jenn is an East Providence native who attended Rhode Island College and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduating, she began working at Rhode Island Hospital in the medical surgical field. Following her time in the hospital setting, she focused her time on community healthcare working as a visiting and pediatric nurse. She has spent many years working with children.
In her role as school nurse, Jenn works to provide the best medical care and support to students and staff. Some of her responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing students’ health problems along with planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. She also works to protect and promote student and staff health by educating and conducting health screenings. She promotes and adheres to all health and safety standards.
In her free time, Jenn loves spending time with her husband/best friend Ryan, her son Cole, and their three fur babies: two tuxedo cats (Vito and Skiba) and one German Shepard (Beau). She prefers to be out in nature whether it is on a beach, in a park, or camping in the woods. Jenn also enjoys live concerts, community events, and attending church services. Her favorite video game is Mario Party on the Nintendo Switch. In her words, games are more fun when able to play with family and friends!
